DKI Provincial Government Starts Using Electric Motors for Operations Ruly Kurniawan

PojokNasional. In an effort to accelerate the use of electric vehicles in Indonesia, DKI Provincial Government began to use electric motors at several points. Namely the National Monument (Monas), Ragunan Wildlife Park, and the New Jati Technical Service.

There are 50 Viar Q1 electric motors distributed. So that it adds to the list of office and tourism areas that use electric motors other than PT PLN (Persero).

Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Regional Secretary for Transportation Sunardi Sinaga explained, the step was taken to encourage the public to use electric vehicles.

"This is a big first step for Indonesia by deploying 50 Viar Q1 electric motors to Ragunan (20 units), Monas (20 units), and Jatibaru Technical Services (10 units) to be used as operational vehicles. In the future, it is expected that general people "I am interested in using this better use of the earth," he said at Ragunan Wildlife Park, Jakarta, Thursday.

The electric motor was carried by PT Paiton Energy as its CSR program in DKI Jakarta. Also provided are two solar-powered electric charging stations and 3 electric charging stations.

"Overseas has begun to use electric vehicles. In Indonesia it tends to be long because the implementation is less like limited infrastructure. I hope with this, the use of electric vehicles can be more developed," said Sunardi.

"This is interesting, I had tried before," he concluded.
