Two raiding members of the TNI in Ciracas turned out to be a couple

PojokPos. Two suspects in beating two members of the TNI who were still in police pursuit or DPO (list of people searching) were married couples. "SR (female) wife of a suspect who is also still a DPO, namely the initials IH," said Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Commissioner Argo Yuwono, Thursday.

Argo said, in this case SR helped push and beat Navy member Captain Komaruddin. Besides IH and SR, continued Argo, the police were also still pursuing other suspects with the initials D.

He appealed to the actors included in the DPO to immediately surrender themselves. "We appeal to the DPOs to immediately surrender themselves to the Metro Jaya Regional Police or East Jakarta Regional Police. We hope you are cooperative rather than these three being DPOs. So, we hope the DPO surrenders before we make arrests," he explained. Previously reported, the police had arrested two suspects for beating the initials AP and HP. At present, the two suspects have been secured at the Metro Jaya Regional Police to undergo legal proceedings.

The suspects will be subjected to Article 170 in conjunction with Article 351 of the Criminal Code concerning Beating with the threat of a maximum sentence of 5 years in prison.
